BB - Biography - Rubens is a Brazillian racing driver who competed in Formula One between 1993 and 2011. He decided to retire in mid- January 2012 last .

Rubens is a supporter of the football club in Brazil. He had become a Juventus supporter and formed a soccer team for charity along with other athletes, such as Valentino Rossi, Boris Becker, Roger Federer, and a real soccer athletes, among others, Zinedine Zidane, Alessandro Del Piero and Pavel Nedved.

He won five karting titles before he moved to auto racing in the early 1990s. After attending the British Formula 3 in 1991 and Formula 3000 in 1992, Rubinho Championship Formula 1 debut in 1993 with the team Sasol Jordan. In the same season, Rubinho won the first title in the Formula 1 Indoor Trophy. During his career in Formula 1, Rubinho has been joined by many teams, including Jordan, Stewart, Ferrari, Honda, Brawn, Williams. The best performance he had ever achieved was when he became the world runner-up in 2002 and 2004 with Ferrari. He is one of the experienced riders as it has followed the Formula 1 championship 19 times, even though he has never brought home a world title though. A close friend of fellow Formula 1 driver Felipe Massa is rumored will continue to be the driver for Williams. However, in mid-January 2012, a team Williams announced that Rubinho wishes to retire and replace the position with Bruno Senna as an official rider Williams in the 2012 season.
