John George Terry is an English professional footballer who plays for and captains Chelsea. He commonly plays as a centre back . Now , Terry is an irreplaceable figure in line behind the Blues . A total of six trophies he collected since served as team captain after the death of the French defender , Marcel Desailly .

Terry crowning achievement so far is when to bring Chelsea won the double winners in the 2004-05 season . Premier League title and League Cup success with a personal disandingkannya PFA Player of the Year and Best Defender of the Champions League in the same season .

He and his wife Toni (née Poole). are the parents of twins, Georgie John and Summer Rose, born on 18 May 2006 in Westminster, London. Terry celebrated their birth when scoring for England against Hungary, when he performed a baby-rocking celebration. The couple married at Blenheim Palace on 15 June 2007. In 2009, Terry was named "Dad of the Year" after he came top of a poll of UK adults in a Daddies Sauce survey. Terry has said that his children are fans of Lionel Messi
