Cameron Jibril Thomaz, better known by wiz khalifa is an American rapper, songwriter and actor. Khalifa is a marijuana addict. In 2010 he was arrested for possession of marijuana, but the free next day after paying a fine of USD300.000. Khalifa name derived from his grandfather is a Muslim. The word means a leader while Wiz khalifa is short for 'wisdom'. He has tattooed the name Wiz Khalifa on his body when he was 17 years old. In music, Khalifa under the influence of Jimi Hendrix, Camp Lo, The Notorious BIG and Bone Thugs-n-Harmony.

His parents divorced when he was 3 years old. Military background of his parents caused Khalifa often change residence. He had lived in Germany, England and Japan before finally settling in Pittsburgh, where he completed his education at Taylor Alledrdice High School.

CAREER :
 

Khalifa was first discovered by Benjy Grinberg, boss Rostrum Records in 2004 when he was accidentally listening to the mixtape compilation of new musicians in Pittsburgh. Khalifa then joined with Rostrum Records and released his first mixtape in 2005 with the title of Prince of the City: Welcome to Pistolvania. A year later, he released his first album titled SHOW AND PROVE.

2007 Khalifa joined with Warner Bros. Records and released two mixtape titled Grow Season and Prince Of The City 2. Through debut single Say Yeah, Khalifaberhasil ranks 25 on the Billboard Rhythmic Top 40 music charts. In 2008 he released a mixtape titled Star Power and Flight School in April 2009.

In 2009 he ended the cooperation with Warner Bros. Records for the release of his album that continues to be delayed. Together with Rostrum Records, Khalifa issued a single Teach U To Fly and How Fly mixtape collaboration with rapper Curren $ y. In November he released a mixtape Burn After Rolling where he collaborated with artists such as Beyonce, Empire of The Sun and Drake. This mixtape was followed by a second album DEAL OR NO DEALyang released on November 24, 2009.

In 2010 TheSource named Khalifa as Rookie Of The Year with Rick Ross. He also toured with rapper Yelawolf in The Deal or No Deal Tour. On April 14, 2010 he released the mixtape Kush and Orange Juiceuntuk downloaded.

July 2010 Khalifa announced that he has signed with Atlantic Records in preparation for his latest album. He was awarded the MTV Hottest Breakthrough MC of 2010 beat Nicki Minaj, J. Cole, Travis Porter and Diggy Simmons.

In 2011, Khalifa released the single Black and Yellow. This single had topped the Billboard Hot 100 in March 2011 he released the album ROLLING PAPERS who has recorded initial sales of 197,000 copies when it was released. 11 April 2012, he announced plans to release a new album titled ONLY IN FIRST CLASS nigga that will be released with the title ONIFC
