Birthplace ; San Kamphaeng, Chiang Mai, Thailand

Yingluck Shinawatra is the first female prime minister who ruled Thailand . and One of the youngest prime minister of Thailand during the last 60 years .
Yingluck Shinawatra Got his degree at Chiang Mai University , and a master's degree at Kentucky State University , majoring in public administration . Her brother , Thaksin . The Prime Minister who was ousted in a military coup in 2006 .

In May 2011, the Pheu Thai Party , which remains a particularly close relationship with Thaksin , Yingluck nominated as candidate for prime minister in the general elections of 2011.  Pheu Thai promote the campaign with the slogan " Thaksin Thinks , Pheu Thai Do It " . During the campaign , Yingluck called on his desire to implement national reconciliation , eradication of poverty , and the reduction of corporate income tax , even though these programs are scorned by the Democratic Party . Pheu Thai Party won a landslide victory with 47 % of votes , won 265 of the 500 seats in Parliament Thailand.

in May 2014 , the Constitutional Court of Thailand Yingluck remove from his post as prime minister on charges of abuse of power .  In sentencing , the judge hearing the leader said that Yingluck had abused his power by moving the head of the national security council , Thawil Pliensri to other positions in 2011, it is done so Priewpan Damapong , Yingluck Shinawatra relatives could occupy this position . Niwattumrong Boonsongpaisan temporarily appointed as Acting Prime Minister .
